New Bar Hill Calendar

In case you haven't been in the Bar Hill Post Office recently, Harry, the postmaster, is proposing to bring out a Bar Hill calendar for 2008. This is an excellent idea which deserves to be supported by all Bar Hill residents, past and present.

The price of the calendar is £4-99 and available now. A proof of the calendar is on display.

Cars targeted by thieves

There has been a marked increase in the number of vehicles that have been broken into in the last week. From reading the crimes people have been leaving things that will attract thieves - a case in point being a Laptop case. DO NOT leave anything in your car which may attract thieves. That includes holders for Sat Nav systems as people will break into your car on the off chance there is something worth stealing.

There are going to be increased police patrols to attempt to address the problem. But people need to do there part and not make them selves a target for theft.

I would urge residents to report all crimes however trivial so we get a good idea of where the problems are.
