A major public consultation has already taken place on where the new site should be - with a majority of 47% supporting the site to the south of Butt Lane near Milton. Alistair Frost, Project Manager for Cambridgeshire County Council said: "We have already been working with local groups and stakeholders on the designs to get their feedback at the earliest possible stage. We now want to take the plans out to users and local residents to see what they think. "We want to make sure that the new site meets the needs of users, and will blend in as much as possible with the local landscape. Some of the things we are investigating include using environmentally friendly nmaterials for the building and looking at innovative methods of powering the new site. "We are inviting anyone who wants to see the designs to come along to the exhibitions and talk to the team." A copy of the plans will also be available at the Cowley Road Park & Ride site or on the County Council's website at www.cambridgeshire.gov.uk/cowleyrelocation http://www.cambridgeshire.gov.uk/cowleyrelocation from Tuesday 3 October.
