Date: 22 June 2007 13:49 NEW SIGNS HIGHLIGHT FIRST CLASS SERVICE AT BAR HILL LIBRARY New signs are now in place to help people find the first class services offered at Cambridgeshire County Council's Library at Bar Hill. A new Post Office which opened in the Library building in October has already won the stamp of approval from local people and now new permanent signs have been put up to ensure that local people are aware of the extra services which are available alongside the usual books and DVDs for loan. Bar Hill County Councillor John Reynolds officially opened the Post Office and he welcomed the new signs which will help highlight the extra service at the Library in Gladeside. He said: "The Library has always been at the centre of the village and incorporating the Post Office into the building ensured it was even more a hub of village activity. I am delighted that these new signs are now in place and I'm sure they will help attract even more people to use the facilities." The County Council's Library and Information Service stepped in to help after the Post Office in the village closed. Conversion work was carried out to create space for the Post Office and at the same time provide a new reference library area. John Reynolds
